Day 1: Kuala Lumpur – Johannesburg (Mob)
Assemble at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) for your flight to Johannesburg Airport.
Day 2: Arrive In Johannesburg (South Africa) (D)
Upon arrival at Johannesburg Airport, head to Soweto, South Africa's largest township. Pass by the Hector Pieterson Memorial and make a stop outside the FNB Stadium, host of the 2010 World Cup Final. View the colorful frescoes of the Twin Orlando Towers before reaching Vilakazi Street, the only street in the world to have been home to two Nobel Prize winners: Nelson Mandela and Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Visit Mandela’s former house for an immersive historical experience.
Day 3: Johannesburg – Chobe National Park (Botswana) (B/D)
After breakfast, fly to Kasane, Botswana, the gateway to Chobe National Park. Upon arrival, transfer to your resort. Embark on a Chobe River Game Cruise, where you may witness elephants bathing by the riverbanks or swimming across, along with hippos and other wildlife. Enjoy a stunning sunset before returning to the resort
Day 4: Chobe National Park – Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) (195km) (B/L/D)
Morning Game Drive in Chobe National Park aboard a Super Jeep, where you’ll
encounter elephants, wildebeest, buffalos, giraffes, and predators like lions
and leopards. After the game drive, enjoy breakfast and then cross the
Zimbabwean border to Victoria Falls. Check into your resort, have lunch, and
proceed with a guided tour of Victoria Falls, also known as “Mosi-Oa-Tunya”
(The Smoke That Thunders). Experience breathtaking views from various
lookout points such as the Devil’s Cataract, Main Falls, and Rainbow Falls. Finish
the day with a Traditional Boma Dinner at the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge
(subject to weather conditions).
Day 5: Victoria Falls (B/L/D)
Morning Game Drive at the Victoria Falls Private Game Reserve, where
you may spot buffalo, giraffes, waterbucks, and many other animals.
Enjoy a thrilling helicopter ride, “Flight of Angels,” over the falls (subject
to weather conditions). In the evening, take a sunset cruise on the
Zambezi River aboard the Signature Deck of the Zambezi Explorer,
complete with unlimited beverages and 5-star comfort.
Day 6: Victoria Falls – Cape Town (South Africa) (B/D)
Enjoy some free time in Victoria Falls before boarding a flight to
Cape Town, South Africa. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and
enjoy dinner.
Day 7: Cape Town (B/L/D)
Cape Town City Tour begins with a visit to Signal Hill for a panoramic view of
the city, Bo-Kaap Malay Quarter, the Grand Parade, City Hall, and the Castle of
Good Hope. If weather permits, take the cable car ride up Table Mountain for
spectacular views of Cape Town, the Waterfront, Camps Bay, and even Cape
Point. Enjoy shopping at the Victoria & Alfred (V&A) Waterfront, which offers
450 retail outlets and stunning views of the harbour. In the evening, enjoy an
authentic African dinner experience with traditional entertainment. Note:
Table Mountain Cableway maintenance from 15th July – 1st Sep 2024. If closed,
enjoy Cape Wheel as a substitute (subject to weather).
Day 8: Cape Town – Cape Peninsula (65km) (B/L/D)
Take a scenic drive towards Cape Point, passing Hout Bay, Chapman’s Peak, and Noordhoek Beach. Visit the Cape Point Nature Reserve and the Cape of Good Hope, the southwestern tip of the African continent. Ride the Flying Dutchman Funicular to the lighthouse for stunning views. On the way back, stop at Boulders Beach to see over 2,000 endangered African penguins. Take a boat ride to Seal Island (subject to sea conditions) for a chance to see Cape Fur Seals. End the day with a Fine-Dining Farewell Dinner in Cape Town.
Day 9: Depart Cape Town (B)
After breakfast, transfer to Cape Town International Airport for
your flight home.
Day 10: Arrival In Malaysia
Arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, bringing home
cherished memories and souvenirs from your Southern African
adventure.
